Technostat® combi filter media removes odors and provides the market’s lowest delta P and highest efficiency—offering up to a 50% lower pressure drop versus standard cabin air filtration media. Diesel exhaust, 2.5 micron particles, VOC's, and noxious fumes—these particulates and gases cause health and comfort issues for end-consumers. The car, truck, rail, and aerospace markets have taken steps to create healthier passenger environments with pollen and activated carbon combi filters. Not all filter media is created equal: • H&V's patented MFM media process packs more surface area into each gram of carbon making it more effective and last longer. Effective cabin air filtration places heavy demands on filter media. The filter must remove both particulates and odors from the cabin air space. H&V combines multiple filtration technologies to create the high-performance media that manufacturers’ desire. MFM/adsorptive filter media incorporate unique, multilayered structures that remove vapors and gases from the air space. Our media can be combined with almost all particulate filtration media and scrims. Meltblown and Technostat media are highly effective for particulate filtration. These materials can be laminated to a stiff carrier or mesh for pleating purposes. H&V’s media can be processed on roto or blade pleating machines. Our application experts can optimize machine settings to ensure the fastest production speed. H&V manufactures cabin air filtration media at its regional mills around the world for fast delivery and local application support.
